	Second-quarter profit rises at Pathfinder by Kevin Tampone
	Pathfinder Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: PBHC), holding company for Pathfinder Bank, earned $550,000 in the second quarter, up from $31,000 a year earlier. Earnings per share in the period totaled 17 cents a share, up from 1 cent per share in the second quarter of 2009.

	HSBC plans move to Washington Station by Kevin Tampone
	HSBC will relocate its offices and branch in downtown Syracuse to the nearly complete Washington Station building on the edge of Armory Square. The bank plans to move its corporate offices Nov. 22 and its branch Dec. 6. The new six-story, 126,000-square-foot office building will also be home to its developer, The Pioneer Cos., and engineering firm O'Brien & Gere (OBG) of DeWitt.

	NBT reports earnings increase by Traci DeLore
	Second-quarter earnings rose at NBT Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: NBTB), the holding company of NBT Bank. The banking company reported net income of $14.4 million, or 42 cents per share, up 24.8 percent from $11.6 million, or 34 cents per share, a year ago. NBT shares were trading up more than 2.6 percent this morning at $22.82.

	Earnings jump at Chemung Financial by Traci DeLore
	Second-quarter earnings rose at Chemung Financial Corp., which reported a 260 percent increase in net income in the period. The company earned $2.5 million, or 69 cents per share, for the quarter, compared with $695,000, or 19 cents, a year ago.

	Earnings dip at Oneida Financial by Traci DeLore
	Second-quarter earnings were down at Oneida Financial Corp. due to a drop in value of trading securities and increased provisions for loan losses. The banking company reported net income of $814,000, or 10 cents per share, compared to $1.1 million, or 14 cents per share, a year ago. Oneida announced its results Friday.
