	BlueStorm acquires CyberCity by Traci DeLore
	BlueStorm Technologies acquired CYBERCity in a move that enables the company to bring more services to the Greater Binghamton area. "BlueStorm can now bring the same enterprise solutions to local companies that we have delivered for over 11 years to clients around the world in industries such as insurance, banking, hospitality, and defense," BlueStorm CEO and President Robert Matson said in a press release.

	NYSERDA awards funding for energy-storage projects by Eric Reinhardt
	The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) today awarded funding to Cornell University and Binghamton University for energy-storage projects. The funding is part of $8 million NYSERDA awarded for 19 projects around the state. The projects could have applications in transportation, smart grids, renewable energy, and other areas, according to NYSERDA.

	Sensis deploys technology in North Sea by Kevin Tampone
	NATS Services in the United Kingdom is now using Sensis Corp. technology to help monitor helicopter flights off the coast of Scotland. The Sensis technology, known as the Wide Area Multilateration system, uses sensors to triangulate aircraft and helicopter locations based on transponder signals. The system provides air-traffic controllers with precise position and identification information, according to Sensis.

	BAE Systems lands Marine Corps contract by Traci DeLore
	A new contract to develop an onboard vehicle power management system for the U.S. Marine Corps could lead to more work later this year for BAE Systems.

	Lockheed wins $171.8M radar contract by Kevin Tampone
	Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) said today it received a $171.8 million contract to produce radar systems for the U.S. Navy's E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft. The contract, from Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, is for initial production of the systems. Lockheed's radar systems business is headquartered in Salina.
