SYRACUSE — 40 Below, a Syracuse–based young professionals group, is launching a co-working space at the Tech Garden.

Syracuse Coworks offers membership packages and daily rates and provides low-cost, professional office space for young freelancers and entrepreneurs, according to 40 Below. The group received support on the project from law firm Harris Beach.

The Tech Garden, located in downtown Syracuse, and 40 Below are both affiliates of CenterState CEO.

Membership levels range from a $15 rate for drop-ins to $225 per month for full resident members. Amenities available at different membership levels include wireless Internet access, printing services, and access to conference rooms.

Full-time residents have 24-hour access to the space, a reserved personal desk, and priority access to conference rooms.

“Syracuse Coworks is a project that the 40 Below Steering Committee imagined about a year ago during a strategic planning session for the organization,” 40 Below Chairwoman Stephanie Crockett said in a news release. “We felt strongly there was a need in Syracuse for a co-working space like we’ve seen in other cities and our dedicated task force has worked tirelessly over the last twelve months to bring this idea to fruition.”
