People news: Lyons National Bank adds commercial-loan officer in Auburn

AUBURN, N.Y. — Lyons National Bank (LNB) recently hired Todd L. Borsa as assistant VP, commercial-loan officer in its Auburn offices.

Borsa, an Auburn native, brings many years of lending experience to LNB, and will be responsible for business development, serving customers in the Cayuga and Onondaga County markets, the bank said in a release.

Borsa graduated from Buffalo State College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and most recently served as VP at LEB Properties, Inc. Active in the local community, Borsa has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 20 years, the bank said.

LNB — under the holding company Lyons Bancorp Inc. (OTC: LYBC), based in Lyons in Wayne County — is a $1.63 billion independent, community bank with 16 branch offices located throughout Wayne, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Seneca, Yates, and Cayuga counties. That includes offices in Jordan, Auburn (2), Waterloo, and Geneva.

LNB, which dates back to 1852, offers personal and business banking products including direct deposit, online banking, cash-management services, remote deposit capture, and more. LNB also provides financial services, including investments and insurance.
