UTICA, N.Y. — The Oneida County government is providing weekly drive-thru COVID-19 testing through Precision Clinical Laboratories at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona and Utica National Insurance Group in New Hartford.
Both test sites are open to the public and no appointments are necessary. The PCR test, collected and processed by Precision, is a self-administered nasal swab. Results are usually available within 24 hours. Tests are free with most insurance providers, and the cost is $125 for those without insurance.
The test site at Turning Stone began operations Jan. 18 at 5218 Patrick Road in Verona and is open every Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Vehicles should enter from the Patrick Road entrance near the SavOn convenience store. Signage is in place to direct people.
