JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. — NBT Bank announced it has appointed Richard LaRusch director of workforce management.
LaRusch joined NBT Bank in 2012 as human-resources generalist. He has advanced through the organization, serving as HR manager and HR business partner before taking on his current role.
In this new position, LaRusch is responsible for leading a team of human-resources staff members in providing strategic support to leaders of specific business divisions at NBT Bank.
LaRusch earned a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Geneseo and has completed the Graduate School of Banking for Human Resources Management. He is active in the community, serving as VP of the Charles F. Johnson PTA and a member of the Binghamton University Engineering Design Division (EDD) External Advisory Board.
NBT Bank offers personal banking, business banking, and wealth-management services from offices in seven states: New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Connecticut. The bank and its parent company, NBT Bancorp (NASDAQ: NBTB), are headquartered in Norwich. NBT Bancorp had assets of $11.6 billion as of mid-year.
