Bronze sculpture in Rome commemorates the historic Oneida Carrying Place

The sculpture is “part of a collective revitalization effort by the City of Rome to honor the diverse culture and history of the area,” per the Oneida Indian Nation. The display features three bronze panels behind a life-size bronze sculpture of an Oneida warrior that showcases the significance of the Oneida Carrying Place.
