St. Joseph’s Health has appointed CRISTIAN ANDRADE, M.D, to chief quality officer. He will provide leadership to the acute and ambulatory services. Andrade’s focus will be on enhancing the quality of care and patient safety throughout the St. Joseph’s Health system. He has been with St. Joseph’s Health for 18 years. The family-medicine trained physician joined the hospital as a resident in 2003 and has served as a hospitalist since 2006. Prior to this promotion, Andrade served as VP of medical affairs, regional medical director, and chief of hospitalist services. He studied at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark and at Wagner College on Staten Island. In addition to his job at St. Joseph’s Health, Andrade is affiliated with Rome Memorial Hospital and Bishop Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
