VERONA, N.Y. — Oneida Nation Enterprises says it has upgraded the air-filtration systems at all of its 16 SavOn and Maple Leaf Market stores in Central New York.
The new air-filtration systems remove “99.4% of all viruses and bacteria from the air after just 30 minutes of being activated,” and the units will run 24 hours a day at SavOn and Maple Leaf Market stores, the Oneida Nation said in its Tuesday news release.
Oneida Nation Enterprises also installed additional air-purifier units in the kitchen areas of the three Maple Leaf Markets, where culinary employees often work “closely together.” The air purifiers filter air six times an hour and break everything down to “.007 microns, 10 times smaller than COVID-19,” the Oneida Nation said.
