SCHROEPPEL, N.Y. — New York State Police say they’re seeking a suspect in an armed robbery of the Phoenix Fastrac gas station/convenience store on Wednesday night.
State Police say that about 9:30 p.m. a white male entered the Fastrac, located at 343 State Route 264 in the town of Schroeppel.
He allegedly approached the cashier’s counter and displayed a black-colored handgun to the female clerk and demanded money from the cash register and the safe. The male suspect then left on foot toward the Village of Phoenix on State Route 264 with an undisclosed amount of cash and rolled change, State Police say.

The suspect is described as being about 6-feet tall, average build, wearing black sweatpants, a light-gray colored “Adidas” zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black-colored baseball hat, and tan-colored work boots.
