Onondaga County warns about possible virus exposure at Wegmans in Clay, Bonnie’s Place in East Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Health Department announced late Tuesday afternoon that the public may have been exposed to the coronavirus at the Wegmans store on Taft Road in Clay and Bonnie’s Place in East Syracuse.

The details on the potential exposures follows:

Two staff at Bonnie’s Place (formerly The Caboose Inn), 628 West Manlius St., East Syracuse

  • 9 a.m.-10 p.m. on Oct. 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and Nov. 1

An employee at Wegmans, 4979 W Taft Road, Clay

  • Tuesday, Oct. 27, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 28, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 29, 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Members of the public who visited the two establishments during the timeframes listed may have been exposed and should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from the date of potential exposure. If symptoms do develop, they are advised to stay home and call their doctor for further guidance.
