WAMPSVILLE, N.Y. — Madison County Health Department has confirmed that people who have tested positive for COVID-19 recently visited several locations in Madison County.
Members of the public who visited any of these places during the dates and times listed should self-monitor for symptoms.
- Point Place Casino at 450 Route 31 in the Bridgeport area of the town of Sullivan on Oct. 1 between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. The infected person was wearing a mask. The symptom-monitoring period is through Oct. 15.
- Critz Farms at 3232 Rippleton Rd. in Cazenovia on Oct. 3 between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The infected person was wearing a mask. The symptom-monitoring period is through Oct. 17.
- Tops Friendly Market at 71 Nelson St. in Cazenovia on Oct. 4 between 10 and 11 a.m. The infected person was wearing a mask. The symptom-monitoring period is through Oct. 18.
- Dave’s Diner at 35 Albany St. in Cazenovia on Oct. 4 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The infected person was wearing a mask. The symptom-monitoring period is through Oct. 18.
Anyone who visited these locations during the identified times should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19. The symptoms include fever, cough, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, and/or difficulty breathing.

COVID-19 testing
Madison County partners with SUNY Upstate Medical University to hold COVID-19 diagnostic mobile testing clinics. Testing times are scheduled Thursday in Morrisville and Oct. 15 in Wampsville.
Testing is available to anyone interested at no cost to the patient, however they are by appointment only. Anyone who would like to be tested should call (315) 464-2582 select option 0 to set up an appointment.
The testing locations include:
- Morrisville Community Church at 3824 Swamp Rd. in Morrisville on Thursday between 3 and 7 p.m.
- Madison County Complex parking lot at 138 North Court St. in Wampsville on Oct. 15 between 3 and 7 p.m.
