Four of the six virus positives reported Tuesday were affiliated with senior-living facilities or previously reported positive cases. So, just two were from community spread, Onondaga County said.

The county said 75 more people recovered from the disease in the last day, bringing the total recoveries to 1,972. The number of active cases fell by 71 to 433.

There are 39 people in the hospital with COVID-19, down from 42 the day before and down from the peak of 85 four weeks ago. Nine people are in critical condition, unchanged from a day earlier.
