SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Crouse Health this weekend will host a nursing-recruitment event to fill open positions in several clinical areas.

It’s set for Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first floor of the Canyon area of Destiny USA, Crouse Health said.

Experienced registered nurses and those who’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing can visit with staff and have onsite interviews. “For a limited time,” Crouse is offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus, which the organization will pay within the first six months of employment.

“The ideal candidate is a nurse who’s dedicated to the profession and eager to join our team,” John Bergemann, Crouse director of human resources, said in a release.

The benefits package includes a “competitive” pay scale; low-cost health and dental insurances; flexible scheduling; tuition reimbursement; loan forgiveness; and opportunities to enhance clinical growth and advancement.
