Herkimer County Community College has hired JEREMY PIETRUCH as a math specialist in the college’s Academic Support Center (ASC). He earned two bachelor’s degrees from SUNY Oswego in mathematics and secondary education: mathematics, before going on to earn a master’s degree in accountancy from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in December 2019. Pietruch was already familiar on campus, having previously worked in the ASC as a part-time math tutor. He also has experience working in the Utica City School District as a homebound instructor, providing one-on-one tutoring to students, and as a substitute teacher at the middle school and high-school levels.
