SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Orange football team (2-2) looks for a second straight win when it hosts the Holy Cross Crusaders (1-2) from the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level on Saturday afternoon.
The game kicks off at 12:03 p.m. at the Dome in Syracuse and will be shown on the ACC Network. Wes Durham, Roddy Jones, and Eric Wood will be the announcing crew. Currently, the ACC Network is available to subscribers of DirecTV, Dish, Hulu, PlayStation Vue, Sling, Spectrum’s Select TV package, Verizon Fios, and YouTube TV.
Syracuse, led by quarterback Tommy DeVito, comes into the game off a 52-33 home win over Western Michigan a week ago. That snapped a two-game losing streak in which the Orange were trounced by Clemson and Maryland.

Saturday afternoon’s game is the 29th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Holy Cross, but first since 1973. The Orange lead the series 23-5. This is the Crusaders’ first trip to the Dome.
Holy Cross joined the FCS level in 1982. The Crusaders are 3-14 against teams from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level, where Syracuse resides. All three wins came against Army (1986, 1987, and 2002).
Syracuse is 17-0 against FCS teams since 1978, when Division 1 college football was split into two subdivisions.
Syracuse will wear an all-blue uniform (jerseys and pants) combination with orange helmets vs. Holy Cross, the football program announced in a Twitter video on Wednesday night.
