MARY ELLEN KAIER has joined Meals on Wheels of Eastern Onondaga County, Inc. as CEO. She is responsible for both the strategic direction of the organization as well as its day-to-day operations. Kaier has more than 30 years of business development and financial management experience. She previously worked in the health care and insurance industries, leading a number of initiatives dedicated to senior services. Her prior employers include Brown & Brown of New York, Inc. (dba, Rowlands & Barranca Agency), Universal American, The Centers at St. Camillus St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center, Northeast Community Care, Arcadian Health Plan, EmblemHealth, and Upstate Medical University, according to her LinkedIn profile. Kaier holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from SUNY Oswego.
