SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Helio Health has expanded services at its recovery center located at 714 Hickory St. in Syracuse.

The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services awarded Helio Health $787,300 over two years to expand the current recovery center. The funding has allowed the recovery center to provide additional programming for individuals, increase staff, and expand hours, Helio Health said in a Wednesday news release.

Helio Health says its recovery center provides “person-centered” care and support to individuals in all stages of recovery, including peer-led support, and dynamic activities assisting individuals during every stage of their recovery.
