CICERO, N.Y. — SRC, Inc. announced it has acquired SAZE Technologies, LLC, a Silver Spring, Maryland–based company that SRC has used as a subcontractor on some of its projects.
SAZE, which has a focus on radar research and development, is now a subsidiary under SRC Ventures, Inc., SRC said in a Monday news release.
The local firm didn’t disclose any financial terms of its acquisition agreement.

SRC is a nonprofit corporation, headquartered in Cicero, that focuses on areas that include defense, environment, and intelligence.
“This venture will bring new capabilities to our extensive radar knowledge base,” Paul Tremont, CEO of SRC contended. “The result will be an accelerated timeline for delivering systems to our warfighters. This will be a great synergy of [research and development] cultures and we look forward to having SAZE employees join the SRC enterprise family.”
SAZE’s 11 employees will remain in their Maryland office and continue working on existing SAZE contracts while also supporting SRC efforts. The firm was formed in 2012.
