ENDWELL, N.Y. — New York State Police in Endwell recently arrested Christina L. Crabb — age 35 of Smithtown, N.Y. — for the felony of falsifying business records in the first degree.
Troopers received a complaint on Jan. 19 that several pills of tramadol, a pain medication, were missing at the Speak Animal Hospital in the town of Maine, according to a NYS Police news release. An investigation revealed that Crabb, an employee of the animal hospital, ordered an abnormally large quantity of tramadol pills, then altered inventory record to conceal the theft of the pain pills.
Crabb reported to the NYS Police barracks in Endwell on Feb. 22, and she was arrested. She was later released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Maine Court on March 13.
