SYRACUSE — Syracuse University (SU) announced today that it is expecting a record crowd of 35,446 for the much-awaited Duke vs. Syracuse basketball game at the Carrier Dome Saturday evening.
The prior Dome record of 35,012 was set last Feb. 23 when longtime rival Georgetown visited for the final time as a conference mate of the Orange.
This Saturday’s game tips off at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN, featuring announcers Dick Vitale and Dan Shulman.

The Duke game marks the first of three straight at the Dome for the Orange. Syracuse hosts Notre Dame next Monday night (Feb. 3) and welcomes Clemson on Sunday, Feb. 9
