ONEONTA — Mirabito Convenience Stores has announced plans to formally open its “renovated and upgraded” location on March 20 in Oneonta.
The new location replaces an older facility, which crews demolished, the Binghamton–based company said in a news release.
The new store’s interior is double the square footage of the previous location. Crews also built new fuel islands for gasoline and diesel with additional pumps, Mirabito said.

The firm wanted a “bright, modern” store, Rich Mirabito, COO of Mirabito Convenience Stores, said in the news release.
“We’ve also added energy-saving innovations and new product lines like our new Yotopia Frozen Yogurt,” Mirabito said.
Mirabito Convenience Stores operates 56 locations in New York, the company said. They include Quickway Food Stores, Mirabito, and Convenience Express locations, according to the company website.
It is part of the Mirabito family of companies, which also includes Mirabito Energy Products, the Mirabito Rewards Program, and Mirabito Truck Repair.
