Syracuse Police seek clues in Tuesday credit-union robbery in Armory Square

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse Police continue to look for a man who robbed the AmeriCU Credit Union on Walton Street on Tuesday afternoon.

A man police described as, “a black male in his late twenties or early thirties, approximately 5-foot, 6-inches tall, 170 pounds,” entered the credit union around 2:40 p.m., walked up to a teller and demanded money. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black wind pants with white stripes on the knees and a white-and-black baseball cap with “Chicago” in red letters.

The man left the credit union heading west down Walton Street on foot.
