NEW HARTFORD — The Presbyterian Residential Community, Inc. in New Hartford has appointed Michelle Cole as administrator.

The Presbyterian Residential Community is a member of the Presbyterian Homes & Services. Cole has worked for that organization for the past 25 years, it said in a news release.

Cole most recently served as a registered nurse and director of patient services at the Presbyterian Residential Community. She started her nursing career in 1988.

Cole is a 1993 graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College, where she earned an associate degree in nursing. Cole currently attends SUNYIT in Marcy, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing and plans to graduate this fall, according to the news release.

Besides the Presbyterian Residential Community, Presbyterian Homes & Services also includes Presbyterian Home for Central New York, Presbyterian Homes Foundation, The Meadows at Middle Settlement, and the Preswick Glen independent senior-living community, the organization said.

Presbyterian Homes & Services says it provides health care, housing, and community services, and promotes individual wellness and independence.
