CICERO, N.Y. — SRC, Inc. announced it has named Marc Rose director of procurement.
He will be responsible for purchasing and subcontract activities and leading the effort to create process improvements that will enhance the procurement function for the business, according to an SRC news release. In addition, Rose will provide supply chain leadership and support to engineering operations, manufacturing, and external supply networks with a focus on material cost management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
Rose has more than 30 years of experience working in high-level procurement positions with increasing responsibility. Prior to joining SRC, he was most recently the director of business management at Atkins Nuclear Secured Holdings. Rose also worked for Parsons as the director of support operations and at Finmeccanica S.p.A as the supply chain director, according to the release.
Rose has a bachelor’s degree in science-industrial management and a master’s degree in business administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a law degree from Southwestern University. Rose is a certified purchasing manager and is additionally certified in production and inventory management.
