SYRACUSE — Rosie Applications Inc., an Ithaca–based maker of an online-shopping app and winner of the Startup Labs Syracuse business competition, announced that its platform now includes Nojaim Brothers Supermarket of Syracuse.
The Ithaca company says Rosie is a shopping tool where customers can save time, money, and stress by predicting the household items they need prior to them running out, and order them from online retailers and local grocers like Nojaim.
“Rosie allows us to expand our distribution beyond our physical store footprint and provide same-day delivery of quality, fresh produce throughout downtown Syracuse,” Paul Nojaim, owner of Nojaim Brothers Supermarket, said in a news release. “We are excited to continue to serve and care for our community and customers by bringing online grocery delivery to Syracuse for the first time.”

Nojaim picks the items and prepares the orders for in-store pickup or delivery throughout Syracuse’s Connective Corridor, according to the news release.
Rosie launched in early July at P&C Fresh in Ithaca, and added its second store in Cortland in September, according to the release. Nojaim will be the third store to adopt the service.
By the end of the year, Rosie Applications says it will expand to five more stores across New York and Pennsylvania.
Rosie Applications won the $200,000 top prize at the Startup Labs Syracuse contest, put on by CenterState CEO, in April of this year.
