Her appointment is effective April 8, the company said in a news release.

Sammon rejoins PAR from The CBORD Group, Inc. of Ithaca, a provider of technology products for food and nutrition-service management, housing management, integrated security, and related needs of universities, corporations, and campus-based institutions, PAR said.

At CBORD, Sammon was senior vice president of operations, with leadership roles in software development, product management, supply-chain management, manufacturing and assembly, professional services, account management, and training and education, according to PAR.

During Sammon’s previous tenure at PAR, she served as chief product and strategy officer as well as president of PAR Software Solutions, the company said.

The announcement comes in a week that’s included other leadership changes at PAR Technology Corp.

On Monday, the company announced Paul Domorski resigned as president, CEO and chairman of the firm’s board of directors. CFO Ronald Casciano succeeded Domorski as president and CEO and Robert Jerabeck joined the firm to become executive vice president and chief operating officer.

PAR Technology also named Sangwoo Ahn the new board chairman. He had been serving as the lead independent member of the board of directors.
