Binghamton University Care Management Summit set for May 22-23

BINGHAMTON — Binghamton University’s College of Community and Public Affairs will host “Care Management Summit 2014: Achieving Excellence” on May 22 and 23 at the University Downtown Center on 67 Washington St. in Binghamton.

The university describes the summit as a professional networking event that is the first of its kind in Central New York. It will focus on the specialties of care and case management, and is designed to provide the concepts, networking opportunities, and timely information needed to practice care and case management today.

The two-day event will include a variety of workshops and conferences, as well as talks from more than 20 regional, state, and national speakers, according to the university. Featured speakers include Dr. Patricia Bomba, a nationally recognized palliative care and end-of-life expert, and Esther Greenhouse, a nationally known environmental gerontologist.
