Estate Planning Council elects new officers, board members

SYRACUSE — The Estate Planning Council of Central New York announced new officers and board members it elected at its recent annual meeting.

The president is Ami Setright Longstreet, of Mackenzie Hughes, LLP. The other officers are vice president, John A. Poli, trust officer at Tompkins Trust Company; secretary, Paul F. Torrisi, Jr., of The Armory Group at Morgan Stanley; treasurer, Patricia P. Greenhouse, from Dermody, Burke, and Brown CPAs, LLC.

New board members include Lee M. Gatta, of Prudential Financial; Sandra L. Kalbach, trust officer, Key Private Bank; Teresa M. Marriner, of Planned Results; Edward F. Saroney, III, of New York Business Valuation Services; and Barry E. Shay, trust officer at NBT Bank.

Immediate past president, Victor L. Jenkins, Wilmington Trust, NA will continue to serve on the board.

The board of directors also includes  David S. Kimpel, of Pappas, Cox, Kimpel, Dodd & Levine, PC; William T. Kriesel, Bowers & Company CPAs, PLLC; Richard C. Murphy, of Insurance & Financial Concepts; Robert D. Scolaro, from The Wladis Law Firm; and David W. Treichler, of Arabella Wealth / Cetera Advisors.

The Estate Planning Council of Central New York, Inc. (www.epccny.org) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1935 to encourage an interdisciplinary approach to estate planning for local professionals. It is part of the NAEPC, the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.
