SYRACUSE — HealtheConnections has elected five new members to its board of directors.
The Syracuse–based organization, which is the umbrella for the regional health information organization (RHIO) of Central New York and the health systems agency (HSA) of Central New York, added the board members from different counties in its 11-county service area. They hail from Cortland, Jefferson, Lewis, Oneida, and Onondaga counties.
“The nominating committee’s goal was to expand the geographic diversity of the board to better reflect the whole region served by HealtheConnections,” Board Chair Eric Hunt said in a news release. Hunt is also executive vice president and chief information officer at Skaneateles Falls–based Welch Allyn.
