The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) recognized a Syracuse engineering firm for an energy savings project through the Multifamily Performance Program.
NYSERDA recognized Syracuse–based En-Tech Associates, Inc. along with four other firms in Buffalo and New York City. En-Tech received the outstanding savings award for new construction for its work on Under the Hill Apartments in Pulaski.
En-Tech’s project achieved energy savings of 51 percent in the seven-unit building, according to NYSERDA. Partners in the Multifamily Performance Program earn awards for projects that result in double or triple 15 percent savings, the program’s target level.
