Green & Seifter CPA firm changes name

SYRACUSE — Green & Seifter, Certified Public Accountants, PLLC has a new name. The accounting firm is now known as Grossman St. Amour Certified Public Accountants, PLLC.

Managing Partners Gary Grossman and Steven St. Amour formed the firm in 2000 when the Green & Seifter accounting and law firms became separately owned and operated entities.

“The original accounting firm was founded by Ed Green back in 1957,” Grossman explained in a news release. “Ed Green established the law firm in 1961. Although the accounting and law firms had the same name, they’ve been completely separate organizations for over 12 years.”

“We’re excited about introducing our new identity,” Grossman said. “It gives us a platform to look ahead to the future, by reminding our clients that our focus on optimizing opportunities is the real advantage we bring to them.”

Grossman and St. Amour have added seven additional partners since forming the firm in 2000. The firm specializes in accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, taxation, financial planning, business valuation, and fraud examination and deterrence.
