SALINA, N.Y. — The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) a $35.7 million radar contract.
That’s according to a list of contract awards posted on the website of the U.S. Department of Defense.
The contract focuses on the Army Navy/Transportable Radar Search (AN/TPS) 59A radars.

Besides the Salina location, Lockheed will also perform work on the contract at locations in Oldsmar, Fla., and Moorestown, N.J. with an estimated completion date of July 12, 2017, according to the website.
The U.S. Army solicited bids through the Internet with one response, according to the details of the contract award.
