M. Griffith Investment Services has promoted Michael E. Evans to senior vice president. He is also group head of Evans & Topi Retirement Advisors. A former advertising agency entrepreneur, Evans joined M. Griffith in 1984. He obtained his certified financial planner designation in 1987, and fulfills his biennial continuing-education requirement with an emphasis on retirement-planning issues. Evans has taught adult-education courses on retirement planning at Utica College and SUNYIT.
