SYRACUSE — Mackenzie Hughes LLP has formed a new practice group that will cater to clients’ growing businesses.
The group, dubbed the Employment and Public Sector Law Group, includes employment, environmental, grants, labor, land-use, municipal, public-finance, and public-officers practice areas. It is chaired by Jeffrey D. Brown.
“Typically a startup company or an established entity that wishes to grow has a variety of legal needs that they need to tackle at the same time, from employment and land-use issues to grant writing for new equipment and contract negotiations with municipalities,” Stephen T. Helmer, Mackenzie Hughes partner and chairman of its executive committee, said in a news release. “We have already seen great synergies among the attorneys of some of these practice groups. The result is effective and efficient legal services for our clients.”
