UTICA — Quanterion Solutions, Inc. won a five-year, $27 million contract from the Air Force to operate a cyber security center.
The Cyber Security and Information Systems Information Analysis Center will be located at the State University of New York (SUNY) Institute of Technology in Utica and at the Griffiss Institute in Rome. Quanterion expects to add employees to its Utica and Rome offices as a result of the deal, according to the company.
Quanterion’s team on the project includes Assured Information Security (AIS), SRC, AEgis Technologies, Syracuse University, the University of Southern California, and George Mason University

The company, based in Utica, is involved in similar local operations for the Defense Department’s Reliability Information Analysis Center.
