AUBURN — Auburn–based D&W Diesel, Inc., which opened a location in Binghamton earlier this year, purchased the assets of Fleetsource Company in Cliffwood, N.J., making it the third new D&W location in the past five months.
D&W, a distributor and remanufacturer of diesel-engine components and tank-truck equipment, purchased the assets of two other Fleetsource locations in Binghamton and Sewell, N.J. in March. With the third new location, the company is well positioned to serve the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, company officials said in a news release.
“The Cliffwood, N.J. location, along with Binghamton, N.Y. and Sewell, N.J. will allow D&W to continue its commitment to this region,” Jim Cummings, corporate sales manager, said in the release.

The new location at 423 County Road in Cliffwood is about 20 minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike and less than an hour from New York City.
D&W, with nine locations, employs more than 250 people across the Northeast.
