SYRACUSE. N.Y. — Visions Federal Credit Union (FCU) is working with Syracuse University (SU) on a success program targeting student veterans.
Visions FCU and SU’s Office of Veteran and Military Affairs (OVMA) announced the initiative during the recent veteran and military-connected student orientation.
The program will provide new academic resources and professional-advancement services to student veterans at Syracuse University, Visions said in its announcement.

The initiative will offer access to tutoring, upskilling, and financial-readiness resources. It will also work to improve existing career and transition services. The program is designed to help student veterans “succeed academically, professionally, and personally,” Visions FCU said.
The program is open to all student veterans enrolled at Syracuse University.

We appreciate the commitment and sacrifice of our veteran and military connected communities and are committed to providing both with the resources they need to succeed.”
About the Visions Veterans Program
Visions FCU says its Visions Veterans Program has operated since 2018 and provides a “variety of resources and services to help veterans achieve their financial goals.” The services include financial-wellness programs, account opening bonuses, free defensive-driving courses, an annual Veterans Expo, and scholarships.
The Visions Veterans Program is open to all veterans and their spouses, regardless of their branch of service or discharge status, the credit union said.
