The company recently added a structural-engineering department to its list of services, Sam Cosamano, president of IPD: Engineering, said in the news release.

“Providing our customers with structural services has been a goal of ours from the start. However, finding the right people and skills presented a challenge…until now. Jeremy Fudo’s outside-the-box approach to his trade is exactly what we wanted. We’re super excited to introduce him and the rest of our structural team to our customers,” said Cosamano.

Jeremy Fudo, a project engineer from Auburn, joined IPD: Engineering in April after operating his own business, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Fudo, who is licensed in 10 states, will operate IPD’s structural department, which currently includes four people, the firm said.

He has more than 18 years of experience designing and evaluating various types of structures, according to the news release.

Besides Fudo, the company also hired David Schug of Clay as a structural designer. Schug also owned his own business before joining IPD, providing structural design and drafting services to local structural engineers, the company said.

Brian Stanton of Camillus also joined IPD and fills a dual role as mechanical and structural engineer, according to the news release.

Since opening five years ago, IPD: Engineering has grown to 18 employees with annual revenue approaching $3 million, the firm said.

IPD: Engineering services clients in the education, health care, manufacturing, and property-development sectors.
