UTICA, N.Y. — The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce will host a small-business roundtable on nanotechnology and the region’s QUAD-C project on Oct. 1 at the Radisson Hotel-Utica Centre in Utica.
QUAD-C is a $125 million computer-chip commercialization center being built at the SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly). It is the first phase of New York state’s $1.5 billion Nano Utica initiative.
Registration for the roundtable begins at 8 a.m., with the program to follow from 8:30 – 10 a.m. The cost to attend is $15 for Greater Utica Chamber members and “not-yet-members,” and includes a continental breakfast, the chamber says in a news release.
