The Syracuse Crunch

The Syracuse Crunch has added three staff members to its front office. Mike Kelly joins the Crunch as a senior account executive, Andrea Marino as sponsorship services manager, and Jan Stransky as account executive. Additionally, the club has promoted Jonathan Smaldon to senior account executive and Alicia Priest to Crunch Foundation and fan development manager. Kelly joins the Syracuse Crunch after serving the past seven years with the Springfield Falcons as director of broadcasting & sales. He also has experience in the ECHL with the Mississippi Sea Wolves and South Carolina Stingrays, highlighted by broadcasting two all-star games and a Media Relations Director of the Year award. Marino earned a master’s degree in public relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, following her undergraduate studies in integrated marketing communications at Ithaca College. Prior to joining the Crunch, Marino worked as an associate account executive for Simon Public Relations in Philadelphia, following a public relations internship with the Crunch. Stransky joins the Crunch staff after graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in sports management and a minor in management studies. He completed internships with the Crunch, Syracuse Chiefs, and the Syracuse University athletics department. Smaldon is entering his third season with the Crunch. He graduated from Niagara University with a degree in sports management. Priest joined the Crunch last summer and now oversees the Crunch Foundation and the club’s merchandise operation. She attended Cazenovia College, where she earned a degree in human services and played on the lacrosse team.
