DeWITT — Datacom Systems Inc. has named Kevin Formby its new president and CEO.
Formby was previously vice president of business development at New Zealand–based Endace Ltd. (LSE: EDA.L), a data capture and analysis hardware and software firm. He also has experience as a senior sales and marketing executive at telecommunication service providers including London–based BT Group (NYSE: BT).
“I am pleased to be joining Datacom Systems,” Formby said in a news release. “They have a great pedigree in the development and marketing of network taps and matrix switches that are used to monitor mission-critical networks at the largest of enterprises and service providers around the world.”

Datacom Systems’ current president and CEO, Sam Lanzafame, will remain with the company in the position of chairman. The company manufactures network test access points, data aggregation tools, and other network-access devices. It was founded in 1992 and is headquartered at 9 Adler Drive in DeWitt.
