Tompkins Trust announces new DeWitt branch location

DeWITT, N.Y. — Tompkins Trust Company plans to open a new branch office in March at 6868 East Genesee St. at Lyndon Corners in the town of DeWitt.

Tompkins Trust currently serves clients in Onondaga County through its Auburn and Cortland branches, Greg Hartz, president and CEO, said in the bank’s news release issued Tuesday.

The Ithaca–based bank in April 2015 announced the hiring of Brian Bisaccio as senior VP and regional manager to help expand the bank’s services into Onondaga County.

“I was proud to join Tompkins Trust Company in early 2015, and I look forward to the continued advancement and excellent services that our new location will bring to local customers,” Bisaccio said in the release.

The staff in the Lyndon Corners office will also include representatives of Tompkins Financial Advisors and Tompkins Insurance Agencies, the company said.

Tompkins Trust Company is a subsidiary of Tompkins Financial Corp. (NYSE: TMP), which also provides insurance and wealth-management services through Tompkins Insurance Agencies and Tompkins Financial Advisors, the company said.

The office will offer commercial loans and deposits, cash-management services, retail loans and deposits, residential mortgages, business insurance, personal insurance, employee-benefits services, wealth management, and trust services, Bisaccio added.

Crews are currently remodeling the location in advance of the office opening in March.

Tompkins Trust said it will add more staff once it opens the branch.
