People news: NBT Bank announces leaders in new roles

Thomas Sutton
Thomas Sutton

Sutton is now director of retail banking. He has 25 years of experience in the financial-services industry. He started his career in NBT’s management development program and advanced to positions of increasing responsibility in retail banking, including branch manager, market manager, and territory manager. As director of retail banking, Sutton is responsible for overseeing service and operations across NBT’s network of more than 150 branches.

David Theleman

Theleman is now chief commercial credit officer. He has more than 30 years of experience in the financial-services industry and started his career in NBT’s management-development program. During his tenure with the bank, he worked as branch manager and then transitioned to commercial banking, where he advanced to positions of increasing responsibility. He most recently served as regional commercial banking manager for NBT’s Southern Tier region. As chief commercial credit officer, Theleman is responsible for overseeing commercial-banking credit and policy for NBT Bank working with commercial bankers across the bank’s six-state footprint.

Jennifer Telesky

Telesky is Southern Tier Regional commercial banking manager. She has more than 10 years of experience in the financial-services industry. She joined NBT Bank in 2006 as a credit analyst and then participated in NBT’s management development program. Upon completion of the program, Telesky joined the commercial-banking team and has advanced to positions of increasing responsibility over the last few years. In her newest role as regional commercial-banking manager, Telesky is responsible for overseeing the activities of NBT’s commercial and business bankers in Chenango, Delaware, Greene, and Otsego Counties.
