Utica man charged with counterfeiting apparel

Bobby Ross, 53, of 941 Stark St., Utica was charged with one count of trademark counterfeiting in the second degree. The charge carries a maximum penalty of four years in prison.

Police said Tuesday that what they seized included counterfeit North Face jackets, Nike sneakers, and name-brand purses, along with a small amount of cash and a 2016 Dodge Caravan.

Ross was given an appearance ticket and is scheduled in court in Utica April 4.

Police said the investigation is continuing and they expect more charges to be filed.
