OWEGO, N.Y. — The 4th annual Tioga County job fair is set for Wednesday at the Owego Treadway Conference Center on Route 17C in Owego.

The event is scheduled between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

TEAM Tioga is the rebranded name of the county’s organizations that focus on economic development. The agencies include the Tioga County Department of Economic Development and Planning (EDP), Tioga County Industrial Development Agency (IDA), and the Tioga County Local Development Corporation (LDC).

About the job fair

More than 100 employers are participating in this year’s event. “All of these employers” will have open jobs that they are hoping to fill, according to a news release from event organizers.

Employment opportunities will include entry level to professional positions, and will cover a “broad spectrum” of occupations.

Organizers will provide job seekers with a packet at the job-fair registration desk on Wednesday. It’ll include a list of employers, table number, and jobs available with that employer.

Any job seekers wanting more information on jobs available can visit their local workforce office. The Tioga Employment Center is located at 1062 Route 38 in Owego. Those interested can also reach the Tioga Employment Center at (607) 687-8483.
