ITHACA, N.Y. — Tompkins Financial Corp. (NYSE: TMP) announced it has appointed Ryan Lombardi of Cornell University as a member of the board of directors for its Tompkins Trust Company unit.
As VP for student and campus life, Lombardi has led one of Cornell University’s largest divisions since August 2015.
Cornell University’s Division of Student and Campus Life provides an array of programs and services designed to support students and the campus community, including athletics, recreation, physical education, Office of the Dean of Students, Cornell Health, sorority and fraternity life, campus activities, residential and new student programs, housing, Cornell dining, Cornell stores, Cornell commitment, Public Service Center, and Career Services.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Lombardi to the Trust Company Board of Directors. Ryan is a highly respected leader whose experience and perspective will be invaluable to the stakeholders of Tompkins Trust Company,” Greg Hartz, president and CEO of Tompkins Trust, said in a news release.
Lombardi served as VP for student affairs at Ohio University prior to joining Cornell.
