LYSANDER, N.Y. — The Northwest Family YMCA plans to hold two job fairs in March to fill 300 positions in advance of its opening this spring.
Most positions will be part time, the organization said in a news release today.
The YMCA will hold job fairs at the Baldwinsville Public Library on March 24 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on March 28 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The new facility will have open positions in areas that include administration; aquatics, including life guards, swim instructors, and coaches; and child care and education, including academic-support instructors, daycare teachers, before- and after-school coordinators and assistants, and tutors.
The openings also include positions in the health and wellness area that include fitness-center floor staff, group-exercise instructors, lifestyle coaches, and personal trainers.
In addition, the Northwest YMCA will have openings for maintenance technicians, janitors, member-service representatives, and gym attendants, and coaches.
Construction on the $20 million, 100,000-square-foot Northwest Family YMCA continues and “is going smoothly,” Lisa Pachmayer, executive director, said in the news release.
