HERKIMER, N.Y. — Herkimer College announced it has appointed Alan Cronauer as associate dean of academic affairs for one of its divisions.
Cronauer, of Deerfield, has been with Herkimer College since 1984 and most recently was an associate professor of accounting. He received the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2003.
In his new post, Cronauer will oversee the day-to-day operations and planning for the Business, Health, Science and Technology (BHST) division at the college, according to a news release. He will oversee the division’s budget, curriculum development, full-time teaching faculty, coordination of classroom assignments and class times, and the assessment process.
