He has worked in a variety of settings, from state and federal appellate matters to state administrative proceedings to Federal District Court, State Supreme Court, and various town courts. Eriksen previously was an associate attorney at Cohen Compagni Backman Appler & Knoll, PLLC and as an associate at Smith, Sovick, Kendrick & Sugnet, PC, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also was a law clerk to Hon. Frederick J. Scullin, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. He earned his law degree from the Syracuse University College of Law and his bachelor’s degree in political science from Middlebury College in Vermont.
